Week 17 Fantasy Football Rankings: Play until the end of Season

So instead of putting out my usual consistency rankings out for week 17, I decided to throw that out the window, and focus on real football; Playoff scenarios to help guage what players will play prominent enough roles in these games and go from there. Something to play for is obviously best. So if your playing in some daily leagues, this will help you out.

Ben Roethlisberger:

with a must win, I am all in on Big Ben for week 17, as long as it stays close in game, which may not happen, but in order to get a big lead, Ben will throw a few touchdowns, easily.

Pat Mahomes:

Yes, he has something to play for. His first division title. and unless the game blows out, which I don’t expect, based on recent play and head to head of these teams, he will stay in, to try and secure the win on the west coast.

Matt Ryan:

For these next 5 guys, its kind of who you prefer. I prefer Ryan who has shown the ability to put up good numbers all season despite a poor team, and has still been hitting his targets, even on the road.

Jered Goff:

Keep in mind these guys have a possibility of getting benched, so for tournaments cool, but not really for cash games on fanduel. Goff though, should be fine in trying to beat a 49ers team that has been challenging teams like the bears down to the wire.

Derek Carr:

Carr should continue to be balling against the KC defense. They have weaknesses as the Raiders want to plunder for the spoil.

Jameis Winston:

The  highly critisized Winston should be ready for the easy matchup, oh wait not so easy vs. a turnover hungry defense of recent weeks.

Josh Allen:

Allen has a lot to play for, as he should keep rolling along on the ground, and look to take shots deep through the air.

Running Backs

Chris Carson:

Carson has the matchup of the week, and should be highly played and owned. However he may get pulled from the game early, if Seattle gains a good lead and wants to rest the starters.

Jalen Samuels:

Samuels has a must play and win opportunity, as it appears that he is doubtful for this game as well, unless he is forced in out of desperation. Monitor this situation up to kickoff to confirm.

Doug Martin:

As these are in order, yes Martin being the 3rd best option for sunday, you can go ahead and pay down at running back this week, providing opportunity for the rest of your roster, which I LOVE for Tournaments, as I have won with this strategy in past years, with the right opportunity.

Peyton Barber:

As a lower owned options, Barber has provided some consistent touch and ability as a goal line runner, and pass catcher.

Kenyon Drake:

This Sleeper may be worth the risk this week, as now is the time to finally use him with caution to the wind, of course splitting time with Ballage, as the coach has admitted he does not even know who will get more touches.

Gus Edwards:

As an unsure pick, he has high upside for this slate, even though his targets are not high. He is good for Fanduel, and just ok for Draftkings.

Sony Michel:

Michel should be the one they rely on to get the obvious favored at home over the Jets play for the week at a reasonable price for the workload.

Damien Williams:

Williams is the main back for KC, and even consider the other Williams back, as he can get a touchdown.

CJ Anderson:

Anderson has the ability to take over the starting running back position for any team.

Wide Receiver:

The best strategy to to get the studs on your team that stack well or correlate with the related quarterback.
