Fantasy Football Rankings Position: WR 25-16

In this post we reach into the 2nd tier of WRs for WR Rankings Position, as there is a lot of good talent and tight, close rankings for these players overall. Fantasy football player rankings position rb

25. Rishard Matthews, Tenn

Matthews is not one who is likely to be up to his numbers that he had last year, with a top 5 pick running up his alley but, with the continued improvement of Mariota, and the connection that has been relied on in Rishard, this may continue for a large portion of the season.

24. Golden Tate, Det

Tate has a consistent kind of feel to him, as his development with the new team should continue with not real depth at this position on this team besides Jones Jr, who was already ranked.

23. Jamison Crowder, Wash

Will Jamison be crowded out of a demand for the football with Free agents and Last year’s rookie Doctson taking over? Not really since Crowder has carved out his own clot receiver role.

22. Quincy Anunwa, NYJ

Forgive me if I botched the name, but the #1 receiver now in New York, well not including the NYGs, is Quincy, and his targets should rise some, even without a dependable QB it seems.

21. Keenan Allen, SD

Allen can continue to try and pick up where left off in his rookie year as a top 12 receiver if healthy. The durability concerns may have been the major reason for drafting Mike Williams. We will hopefully get more games out of Allen though.

20. Terrelle Pryor Sr., Wash

I love Pryor as a fit for this team, and the upside is great here to move up during the season, as a seasoned QB, connecting with a better QB, then he had in Cleveland.

19. Doug Baldwin, Sea

Baldwin is not as highly ranked here as you will see in other rankings from experts, but Baldwin has proven to be one of those sneaky plays that owners will draft in start as a #2 option in standard and PPR leagues.

18. Mike Crabtree, LOS

I loved the production you got out of Crabtree last year, and as a former high first round pick, he is living up to the potential, now as a veteran on a really good team as the #2 Wideout there and deservedly on Fantasy teams

17. Damarius Thomas, Den

Thomas always has the upside, but not the QB. Dont’ see him gaining any kind of form he once had in 2012, but still probably a #2 fantasy option

16. Jarvis Landry, Mia

As the LSU product gets better every year, the limitations on the offense probably keep him this low. He could very well be the best slot WR in the NFL. fantasy football player rankings position running back

Fantasy Football Rankings by Position: WR 35-26

Ok, I think we all love rankings to let’s continue with the WR rankings:

Just to add though, feel free to share and comment,

35. Mike Wiiliams, SD

Williams will be an excellent target, especially in the Redzone for P. Rivers, replacing the other Williams, who is supposed to be set as a backup. This high of a pick should not go underutilized.

fantasy football rankings by position: top WR34. Marvin Jones Jr., Det

Jones Jr. has cracked the lineup, even though he has never been a top 20 true fantasy option, nor a real number 1 option, he faded away last year as the #2 option behind another guy who is not a #1 fantasy option either. The good thing is that he CAN give you a hot start, kinda streaky.

33. Sterling Shepard, NYG

While Shepard has a lot of balls to share among newcomer, B. Marshall, it seems that this small WR’s growth should not be hindered too much, as Manning should favor the slot position as he did with V. Cruz, however Odell has been utilized in that spot a lot.

32. Deshawn Jackson, TB

DJax has still has the deep ball threat ability that you could have used consistently for years, as I have, but last year there was a concerning drop off, and IF the team change is better for him, he always has injury concerns. More of a DFS option as a long shot from week to week.

31. Corey Coleman, Cleve

Call me a Browns fan or not, but I like this kid to be a potential consistent deep threat for the Browns near future. When the QB position finally gets settled that will of course, only help Coleman.

30. Stephen Diggs

Diggs should be good as a #1 option at this point, probably until late in the season, as his numbers suggest per last year that he IS a #1 receiver, its just that others are solid #2’s or trying to get more rookie upside on this roster, as no one else takes it from Diggs this year.

29. Emmanuel Sanders

There was one recent year that I had Sanders as a top 10 WR, with Manning of course. Those days are past, and with Sanders sort of stuck with the roundup of QB’s on this roster, unless something is decided and groomed as the definite starter, Sanders potential lay dormant.

28. Kelvin Benjamin

Benjamin boasts one of the biggest target as a redzone threat in recent years with that potential to play as big as he is. This creates some difficulty in perhaps the Panthers putting trust in Benjamin because of weight concerns, or rather, trying to replace Ted Ginn, which makes better sense to me.

27. Larry Fitzgerald

Another big consistent threat as always, if Fitz can once again be considered a #1 WR, this will be a good year for him, as no one else is capable, quite frankly of taking this spot over from him, with a couple of the fastest WR’s out there, in Brown and Nelson not cracking this list.

26. Willie Snead

Snead has the viable option as a possession receiver still, it seems in this New Orleans offense, and may still be the most sure receiver of the bunch, with perhaps an emerging running game, the ball will never go to one guy anyway but Snead is the best considered go-to-guy of the bunch.
