College Football DFS Picks for Draftkings Bowl Games

We will be giving you the best college football dfs picks for 12/24-12/29 to get you up to speed on what you need to know for these games whether playing in mode on Draftkings or Showdown Captain Mode, so you can stay busy during the holidays in dfs in many sports. If you want solid help on the NBA Christmas slate go here. Starting with the Showdown slate single game breakdown.

Check back frequently as I updat these games and skates especially as we get closer to kickoff for each card. You are probably only 1 or 2 players away from cashing in big in tournaments!

BYU @ Hawaii

While BYU should be the better team here today, the quarterback you want to play is Cole McDonald. He projects for 20 FanPoints, and has even more upside with a flare for the dramatic. Look to stack Cole with his best receivers such as Cedric Byrd, Jared Smart, and J-M Sharsh. There is actually no need to play a running back in this game other then maybe Jackson McChesney for BYU as he has put up 7.5 yards per carry!

Thursday 4pm slate

I love 2 game slates, as this are easy to get a lineup that gets you cashed in on a reasonable singe entry tournament or multiple entry large GPP.

Here you can start to look at some spots for some real upsets as the couple games could turn out sour for the favored teams. History shows that these are the least predictable for the favored team, so don’t be surprised by a score that is not within the vegas lines you could find on Sportsline. Don’t be afraid to go with the underdog QB for Louisiana Tech, J’mar Smith. He can get you what you need stacked with Adrian Hardy for a reasonable price to be different, setting yourself up for success on this slate. The Hurricanes with run DeeJay Dallas, UPDATE: Dallas is out so you can put in Cam’Ron Harris as he projects best today. If they can get the running game going, then its far more difficult for Lou Tech to keep up. You could put a second QB in Kenny Picket for Pitsburgh as you want to get him stacked if at all possible with Maurice Ffrench. You could also run it back with Arthur Jackson for E. Michigan. Stack him with Mike Glass.

check back as I keep updating as we go along. Pick your games, teams, players, and take your own stand throughout the bowl games!

Friday 5 game slate

On fanduel, you can get all 5 games in on the bowl slate if you don’t mind starting at 12pm getting your lineups set. On Draftkings, you’ll have to settle for 4 games starting at 4pm. I may play on both.

UC vs Temple:

On fanduel, if opting to use players from the UNC vs. Temple bowl game, Expect a close competitive game that may go under the 53 total. I would say if it fits within your budget there use the Sam Howell to Daz Newsome QB/WR stack as even though they have less experience then the Owls as a team.

Mich. St. vs WF

As for the Mich. St. Wake Forest Pinstripe bowl, I may not go here at all, with how banged up WF has been. I still particularly have my eye on recievers Scotty Washington and Kendall Hinton if they fit into my LU build as they could get big plays in passing game vs. Mich St. Brian Lewerke is underrated and should give you a value pick if if fits as well. Check pricing of him with Cody White if needing a combo stack. You could also throw in a couple J. Newman stacks in MME.

Tex A&M vs Okl. St.

Look for a close game between Texas A&M and Okl. St. in the Texas Bowl. I will defininitly take the over in the 54 point game total, as I expect this to be close and high scoring. Beautiful game script for me. Stack both quarterbacks, and use Dru Brown along with Chubba Hubbard for St. along with Dillon Stoner and feel free to use Isaiah Spiller and Jhamon Ausbon along with Quartney Davis and Kellen Mond who you don’t have to stack as he’ll get rushing yards. Check for pricing for value out of this game for sure.

USC vs Iowa

J. Silvia is more of a GPP flier for the Trojans vs Iowa who is a very stingy defense with high round draft picks scheduled to go up to the podium. As for the other side of this game check out Tyler Goodson as a key value piece in your lineup today. Not many have heard of him but they should be able to run vs USC.

AF @ WSU

Anthony Gordon is a core play so start your lineups with the late game or watch your lineups sink later in the night. You don’t have to but can opt to run it back with AF QB Hammond. Take the value of stacking Gordon with R. Bell who’s had 17 receptions in last 2 games.

Saturday 4 game slate:

Okla. vs LSU

This is a no brainer stack game. A lot of people will be going here, and you should as well in cash games. Fire up both QB’s basically all WR’s and RB Kennedy Brooks as the safe option here. Best to go elseware tomorrow for your other 1 or 2 running backs. Clyde Edwards-Helaire has not practiced so I do not advise sticking him in any of your lineups unless you hear otherwise as to indicate he is playing for sure. I do prefer Burrow if only taking one QB out of this game. In tournaments you will to try and be different going elseware.

Clemson vs. Ohio St.

Ohio state is my team so call me biased if you want, but they have produced a lot of fantasy points and this appears to be the 2nd option game stack to go with for sure, as you want at least parts of this game in your lineups. The game may go under the 62.5 points but it should be close as neither team will be willing to take risks. Give the QB edge to Field because of his rushing and TD upside. Use as many receivers as you want to stack with him as well, as he spreads the ball around nicely, so use it to your advantage, taking shots with low cost upside. You could really go with either RB in this game to try and afford with your roster build, however you may have to use Travis Etienne for 700 less on DK.

Penn St. vs Memphis

This may seem like a blowout potentially but Memphis could keep this to around a 7 point spread. Sean Clifford has the 2nd highest implied team total along with the 2nd lowest price tag, providing possibly the best value on the slate with rushing upside. If you can spend up for K. Gainwell I am fine with that as he also gets involved in the passing game. Journey Brown is a nice value play to round out your lineups.

ND vs IOWA St.

This game is off the DFS radar for tomorrow as if you go anywhere you will want to ND side, with You could possibly do a I. Book and Chase Claypool stack.
